ILA20 WILL BE ILA21
We’re back! In 2020, with a heavy heart, we spoke about the decision of delaying our dear ILA20 to have it become ILA21 – thinking of our health and the difficulties that we’ve all faced personally and as communities.
Today, we come back stronger and with news. First: ILA21 has a set date! We’ll meet next November 10th - 12th to listen to each other and to reflect on how we grow, now from than ever, from strength.
COVID has been a challenge not only for ILA but for all IxDA gatherings. In 2020 we decided to keep the location of the conference in San José, Costa Rica, and now, with more information about the health emergency that we keep on facing, as well as the remarkable online experience that was Interaction21 - Montréal, we can confirm that ILA21 will be 100% virtual. We’re amidst designing what we hope will be a memorable experience, enjoyable from wherever you may be.
We appreciate your patience and support. We continue with the same dream: growing in togetherness, with other local chapters, business and academic partners, and what we lovingly call ‘sibling’ communities.
Last but not least, our call for proposals is now officially on our website: ila.ixda.org; you can now submit talks and workshops to be part of ILA21. We’re excited to get ideas from all of the community.
We’ll publish more details in the upcoming weeks and until we meet again. We’ll keep on building this unprecedented ILA as a team, which no doubt, will be one for history.
Sending warm hugs. Until November 10th. Co-chairs Ana Domb, Diana Zuleta y Laura Escudé.Back to press releases
